I Know losing weight is your focal point, but…

I know losing weight is a focal point to many however shifting said focus to getting healthy first is really where our concentration needs to be.

What helps me, is structuring my whole way of eating around the 80/20 Ratio! It refers to Acid Foods vs Alkaline Foods using the Acid/Alkalinity Chart. Balance is Key!  Once you start eating to be healthy instead of eating to look good, you fuel your body with nutrients that (with proper rest, water intake, exercise, fresh air & sunshine) will give you the body you want on the outside to match the stellar one you have built on the inside. And faster.

BASICS:
Water has a pH of 7.0.
This range is considered neutral, water is neither Alkaline nor Acid. Any substance with a pH greater than 7.0 is Alkaline, and any substance with a pH lower than 7.0 is Acidic. Humans striving to maintain proper balance need to shoot for a range between 6.0-6.8.

Finding a perfect balance can seem difficult at first but a good way to approach it is to try to maintain an 80% Alkaline and 20% Acid ratio.
